National Disabled Development Foundation, under the control of the Ministry of Social Welfare, is responsible for the welfare, development, training and empowerment of the physically and mentally challenged people in the country, including the needy, the disabled, the disabled, the disabled, the autistic and the physically and for any other reason. In 2009-2010, experimentally disabled services and support centres were launched in five districts of the country to provide free physiotherapy and other medical support to the disabled population. Based on the success of these centres, 103 centres were opened in 64 districts of the country till the financial year 2014-15. Already, about 110,000 disabled people have been provided with various services in the centres. The centre also provides assistance of around Rs 35 0.5 00 crore to the disabled for the financial year 2014-15.
Counselling, including all services and support centres, including free therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, will provide complete lysing to people with disabilities, autistic and congenital or othercauses. Counselling, information and referral services are being provided.
